Castleford Tigers will continue their preparation for 2022 with a pre-season friendly against Doncaster on Sunday, 23rd January.

The Tigers will travel to the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.

Tickets are available for the match NOW, online via the Club Doncaster ticketing page.

It will be the first meeting between the Tigers and the Dons in seven years, the last time being back in 2015 during a pre-season friendly.

Castleford’s visit to Doncaster will be Lee Radford’s second match in charge of the Fords following the first a week earlier against York City Knights at the LNER Stadium. Just under three weeks before the Tigers kickstart their Betfred Super League campaign at home against Salford Red Devils.

Doncaster will provide a terrific challenge and allow the Castleford Head Coach to see who could be fighting for a place in his first competitive starting thirteen on Friday, 11th February.

Doncaster are charging up for a big Betfred League 1 campaign in 2022, with the hope of securing promotion to the Championship for 2023.

Coached by Richard Horne, the Dons came close to earning that spot in the second tier this year getting to the League 1 Play-Off Final but ultimately losing out to Workington Town.
