Tigers 21-man squad for Salford

Castleford Tigers Head Coach Daryl Powell has announced his 21-man squad for Friday’s match against Salford Red Devils.

The Fords face the Red Devils for the first time in 2021 at the AJ Bell Stadium on Friday night in Betfred Super League, and Powell makes three changes to the squad declaration he posted for last week’s fixture against Wigan Warriors.

Daniel Smith and Jordan Turner miss out whilst Tyla Hepi will not feature due to his two-match penalty notice received from the previous round. Jesse Sene-Lefao is back after serving his own match notice last week, Lewis Peachey returns to the 21-man squad following his two-week loan to York City Knights, and Gareth O’Brien is in contention after suffering an injury against Leigh Centurions a fortnight ago.

If Nathan Massey features on Friday night, it will be his 250th appearance in Castleford colours, a terrific milestone for one of our #ONECLUB men!

This game will be live on Sky Sports on Friday night, who today announced with Super League that they have extended their broadcast right partnership until the end of the 2023 season, you can read all about that news HERE.

2021 Season Ticket holders can still access the live match through Our League if they have redeemed their code, further details of that can be found HERE.

Castleford will face Salford in the league this week, the Challenge Cup next week, and then also at Dacia Magic Weekend in Newcastle in September! Club tickets and travel for the rugby league festival is available NOW, with Season Ticket holders getting 50% off their tickets.
