MEDIA ANNOUNCEMENT

Castleford Tigers are pleased to announce the addition of key personnel to its Media Department.

The recruitments are a key to the clubs integrity; and communication platforms ‘moving forward’.

The Tigers welcome back to the club Matthew Merrick, who will take lead as ‘Head of Media’. 

Further additions in the department; he will be joined by ‘Media Executive’ Ethan Hall, and ‘Videographer’ Keiron Owen.

Merrick has 35+ years’ experience in the game, in varying roles of Matchday Operations and Youth Management, and various media roles in Rugby League & Professional Football. He is also a committee member of Castleford RLFC Players Association and working on club and former player relationships.

Media Executive Ethan Hall adds another dimension to the club's social platforms, and creative edge with substance to grow the club's vision. He joins with former roles within Super League Multimedia teams, and International Sports Manufacturing companies.

Completing the trio of new additions, with innovative and visionary videography;  with his enthusiastic outlook is ‘Owen’ who adds a whole new dimension to the club's outlooks in moving image and documentary television; with experience in Rugby League and Football.

The new media additions plan to give a great dynamic and skillset to the club; and work within improving everything about the club's engagement and multimedia platforms.

The club would also like to acknowledge their gratitude for departing staff members; Andy Denton, Harry Render and Sam Fulton for their time at the club.
