2025 Fixtures!
Three key fixtures revealed for 2025!
The first home Super League fixture for 2025 has been announced and our opponents are St Helens, who finished 6th in the table last season.
For Saints, that was their lowest league finish in 30 years and meant they faced Warrington Wolves in the Eliminator Play Off, which they lost 23-22.
Danny McGuire, Head Coach of Castleford Tigers, said: “It’s a great fixture to have. Saints will be a good test for the lads. They won here twice last season and we won a tight game at theirs. We are putting the lads through their paces right now so they are ready, and they are responding brilliantly. We are cranking it up week by week and by the time Saints visit, hopefully we will have a big, loud, vocal crowd behind us, so together we can make The Jungle a difficult, intimidating place to visit for every team.”
Tigers’ first game of the Super League season is away at Hull KR on 14th February, which might be Valentine’s Day, but we are sure there will be no love lost between the two teams. Especially as the fixture marks a return for coaching duo McGuire and Brett Delaney.
The 2025 Rivals Round fixture is away to Wakefield Trinity on Thursday April 17th which is bound to be a lively one as we “welcome” Wakefield back to the big time.
