Tigers beat FC on the road!

The Tigers charged from kick off and it was led by Liam Watts and Horne who made their first contact a big one but FC’s Logan Moy skipped around two defenders to make 20 metres.

The first points came to the Tigers with fast hands out wide to find Innes Senior in the corner with an excellent diving finish. Rowan calmly added the extra points with a successful conversion. 

Hull FC retaliated quickly with Ligi Sao hitting a short ball near the line he crashed over to score. 

Castleford from a scrum downplayed it to Rowan Milnes who with a dummy sliced through the line to score. 

After a physical clash in centre field between the forwards packs Horne breaks down field.

Liam Watts broke the line after receiving a short ball from Joe Westerman and Jenson Windley was in support to finish of the play with his first Try for the Tigers first team. 

Hull got another chance at the line, but the ball is lost as they crossed the line with Jason Qareqare forcing the error. 

Castleford responded quickly with an inside ball to Hoy who skipped through the line to score and Rowan going 4/4 with conversions. 

Castleford gave away back to back penalties for holding down and offside that put FC 15 out from the Tigers line but Jason Qareqare stopped a certain try. 

Hull FC capitalised on the penalties and Harvey Barron received a long ball and ran over Senior to score in the corner. 

Harvey Barron scored back-to-back tries after a set restart as Jason Qareqare couldn’t collect the contested kick. 

The Fords came out strong in the second half looking to keep momentum going with McShane scooting from dummy half and making extra yards. 

Hull FC responded with expansive play but their try was denied by the referee.

Sylvester Namo charged the Tigers down field which was followed up by Hoy who broke the line. The Tigers were turned possession over on Hull’s line.

A late shot saw Sylvester Namo receive a yellow card and 10 minutes on the sin bin however Muizz Mustapha put on a big shot to force a Hull FC knock on.

Jenson Windley made back to back tackles in centre field shutting the Hull FC defence down. 

Ese Ese offloaded inside to Carlos Tuimavave who scored under the sticks.

Another Sinbin came for the Tigers as Liam Horne went in with a high shot that forced the referee to produce a yellow.

Ese Ese produced a storming run that bounced George Lawler, but he quickly recovered to make the tackle.

The Tigers received a penalty after Mellor was hit high, Yusuf Adin was sent to the sinbin and Rowan opted to take the two points which he got successfully. 

Sylvester Namo got his first try of the season from a short ball of Liam Watts allowing him to crash over the line. 

Rowan Milnes dropped a field goal to make it 33-20.

Tex Hoy scored off the back of a Rowan Milnes drop off. This saw the Tigers pull ahead in the game.

Jason Qareqare got over the line after Hooley broke down field, but the referee denied it for a double movement.

An amazing effort from The Tigers they secured the win.
