Opposition View

Leigh currently sit above The Tigers and will be looking for a late end of season push towards the play offs. Adrian Lam’s side will visit Castleford twice in the coming weeks in what is set to be two massive fixtures. Last time out the sides were all square after 80 minutes and extra time.

Lingard on the Tigers Faithful

"They're massive, they've been great even when we haven't played particulary well and we've been lucky enough that they've been 100% behind us all year."

"On the day when the Jungle is packed and the fans are bouncing their's no better place to play."

The Squads

Castleford Tigers: Innes Senior, Jacob Miller, Liam Watts, George Lawler, Elie El-Zakhem, Alex Mellor, Joe Westerman, Rowan Milnes, Nixon Putt, Muizz Mustapha, Sylvester Namo, Jason Qareqare, Cain Robb, George Hill, Luis Johnson, Fletcher Rooney, Daniel Hindmarsh, Tex Hoy, Corey Hall, Akim Matvejev, Jenson Windley.

Leigh Leopards: Zak Hardaker, Ricky Leutele, Josh Charnley, Matt Moylan, Lachlan Lam, Tom Amone, Edwin Ipape, Robbie Mulhern, Kai O'Donnell, Jack Hughes, John Asiata, Dan Norman, Frankie Halton, Owen Trout, Umyla Hanley, Tom Nisbet, Louis Brogan, Brad Dwyer, Darnell Mcintosh, Aaron Pene, Bailey Hodson.

Ones to Watch

Edwin Ipape - The PNG international could feature for the Leopards on against Cas, after suffering an injury earlier on this season Ipape made his return at the Fords. His speed from dummy half could cause the Tigers issues. Edwin Ipape could be the difference in this clash.

Josh Charnley -  The Leopards winger was up there with the top try scorers in 2023, 26 tries for the veteran winger as he showed his class and experience out wide. Charnley has 6 tries so far in Super League in 2024 and will be looking to add to his tally against Cas.

Matt Moylan - Veteran playmaker Matt Moylan has played at fullback for the Leopards. The Australian international could be the missing piece to Leighs attack. His quality out the back will be something the Tigers will have to close down.
