Castleford Tigers hold London Broncos scoreless to earn their second league victory of the season.

A few new faces for the Tigers as we returned home in the Betfred Super League, Tex Hoy and Corey Hall making their competitive Cas debuts.

It was Cas who struck first within two minutes as Tex Hoy’s first touch saw him break the line and find Jacob Miller on his inside to open the scoring.

Jacob Miller then found Innes Senior on the edge in the left corner, however rushing Broncos defenders were there to force the error and stop the try.

London came close after 18 minutes played, A Jacob Miller knock on nearly spilled out to the London players before he grounded it for a drop out.

Rowan Milnes hit next for the Tigers after stab in behind from Paul McShane was pounced on by the halfback to put Cas 12 points infront.

A Paul McShane classic followed soon after when the skipper scooted over under the posts to get the Tigers firing.

Tex Hoy showed his class once again out the back breaking the line, the fullbacks pass found Mellor who dived over the whitewash.

Innes Senior added to his try scoring tally after shrugging James Meadows off and diving over.

Cas were ahead 30-0 at the break after a quality first half all across the board.

4 minutes into the first half Innes Senior was at it again in the corner, a pinpoint kick landed in the wingers hands for his second of the day.

It was Louis Senior who dotted down next for the Tigers, his second in Tigers colours. A great way to open his account at the Jungle.

London had few spells of possession within the Tigers half not much came from the Broncos but credit to the Tigers for superb defensive display.

An all-round quality performance from the Tigers, a determined defensive effort finished off with some silky attack. Craig Lingard’s men ran away winners whilst keeping the Broncos to nil.
