FIRST TEAM – VS HULL FC (H) – FRIDAY 8th SEPTEMBER 2023

The Fords’ First Team return to Wheldon Road for their final home contest of the campaign when they take on Hull FC under the lights, kick-off is scheduled to get underway at 8pm!

Both sides are coming off defeats last weekend with Cas losing out to Warrington at The Halliwell Jones Stadium and the Black and Whites suffering a 28-12 home defeat to Leeds Rhinos.

ACADEMY – VS HULL FC (H) – SATURDAY 9th SEPTEMBER 2023

The Tigers’ Academy youngsters will also be involved in a fixture against the Airlie Birds this week when they host FC on Saturday.

They will be hoping to replicate their performance from their last outing as they put Huddersfield Giants to the sword last Friday by 40 points to 16. Fletcher Rooney was the star of the show with the full-back crossing four times on the day.

Saturday will mark their last game of the season so why not pop down to back the youngsters as they aim to finish the campaign on a high with kick-off getting underway at 11am.

WOMEN – VS BRADFORD BULLS (H) – SUNDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2023

Castleford’s Women’s side also will look to close out their 2023 season with a positive result at home to Bradford Bulls on Sunday, kick-off 2pm.

The Tigresses put in an admirable display in their previous game against Leigh Leopards with Alisha Nix crossing during the 22-4 defeat.

It was a tight game the last time the pair met with the Tigresses leading at half-time but Bradford eventually ran out winners by 16 points to 4.
