ACADEMY – VS HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS (A) – SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2023
The Fords head to Huddersfield Y.M.C.A.R.U. for an early 10:30am kick-off and their second consecutive away fixture.
Last time out Cas’ youngsters were in action at Odsal Stadium with tries coming from Wall, Rooney, Darley, and a Hall hat-trick which were enough for them to hold on to their slim two-point advantage to claim a 32-30 win.
The Academy Tigers will be looking to finish their season off strongly with only two games to go!
FIRST TEAM – VS WARRINGTON WOLVES (A) – SATURDAY 2nd SEPTEMBER 2023
Castleford’s First Team are also on their travels this coming weekend when they take on Wire at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The Fords are coming off a 34-4 home defeat to St Helens and will be eyeing to bounce back by producing a similar display to their last against the Wolves. Jack Broadbent’s late try in front of the Wheldon Road end sealed a memorable victory at The Jungle over this weekend’s opponents earlier in the season.
Warrington ended a lengthy losing streak in their previous fixture by getting the better of Hull FC at The MKM Stadium.
Saturday’s clash will be shown live on Sky Sports and will get underway at 3pm!
Tickets are available here.
WOMEN – VS LEIGH LEOPARDS (A) – SUNDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER 2023
Like their male counterparts, the Tigresses will also make the journey over the Pennines this weekend.
Leigh Leopards will be the opposition at Twist Lane for a 12pm kick-off who are coming into Sunday’s match with a derby victory over Salford Red Devils behind them.
The Leopards will be a stern test for the Tigresses who will be looking to build on the positives of tries from Alisha Nix and Tahnee Holmes against Featherstone just over a week ago.
