O’Neill joins Sheffield on loan

Jacques O’Neill has joined Championship outfit Sheffield Eagles on an initial two-week loan which will continue on a rolling basis as he looks to reach full match fitness.

After making 29 appearances for the Fords in his first spell, the 24-year-old re-joined the club earlier in the year having spent a stint away from the game after appearing on reality television programme, Love Island.

Over the past few months, the hooker has been working hard on his progression towards playing competitive rugby league again and will now continue his rehabilitation at the Eagles.
