FC Cup tie details confirmed

Castleford Tigers’ Betfred Challenge Cup Sixth Round contest against Hull FC will take place on Sunday the 21st of May at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle and will be broadcast live on BBC Two and iPlayer with kick-off at 3pm.

The pair are familiar foes in the competition having met 16 times in the past with the head-to-head tipping in the Black and White’s favour by nine victories to five.

Cas’ last meeting with the Airlie Birds in the Cup came back in 2020 when a behind-closed-doors game hosted at The Totally Wicked Stadium ended in defeat, however, if their latest meeting earlier in the season to go by, it’s expected to be a hotly contested tie.

After the Fords were edged out at the MKM Stadium back in February, Andy Last’s squad will be eager to get one back and take a step closer to Wembley.

The Tigers are also offering FREE tickets to the fixture for 2023 Junior Members and this will also be available via the ctrlfc.com/members page!

Please note that the Members discount will end on midnight Friday the 19th of May when ticket prices will go to normal pricing. 

Seated Members will also have to claim their seats before 6pm on Monday the 8th of May before they go on general sale.
