Castleford’s Scholars will be aiming to make it back-to-back wins this week when they travel to Huddersfield on Wednesday night!

Last time out Richard Garbett’s youngsters experienced derby delight earlier this month as they took a comfortable 24-8 win at home to Wakefield Trinity.

Tries from Sam Grice, Jack Pallister, Sean Coughlan, Tyler Sharpe, Leroy Ncube, and Taylor Robinson helped claim a convincing victory and they will be hoping to replicate that level of performance this week.

Kick-off at Huddersfield’s Laund Hill Community Club is scheduled for 7pm!

FIRST TEAM – VS HULL KR (H) – FRIDAY 21st APRIL 2023

The Tigers’ First Team are back home after being on the road last week at Salford where they were edged out by 14 points to six.

Greg Eden’s early opener for Cas was cancelled out by a Brodie Croft score before Shane Wright’s close-range effort and a Marc Sneyd penalty secured the two points for the Red Devils.

Cas will be looking to bounce back on home turf and will attempt to use the backing of the Jungle crowd which saw them take a crucial two points against Wakefield in their last home contest.

KR are coming off an impressive victory over St Helens so it’s building up to be a hotly contested clash on Friday night live on Sky Sports!

Tickets can be purchased at our Ticket Office on Wheldon Road, at Tigers Den in Carlton Lanes or online HERE.

ACADEMY – HULL KR (H) – SATURDAY 22nd APRIL 2023

Our Academy Tigers are also in home action at The Jungle as they also welcome Hull KR the day after both first teams go head-to-head.

It was a high-scoring occasion in our academy’s last outing as they couldn’t hold on to a half-time lead as neighbours Trinity came from behind to take a 44-38 win.

Entry for 2023 Tigers Members and under 16s is FREE and it’s £5 for everyone else so make sure to get yourself down to Wheldon Road on Saturday!

WOMEN – VS WARRINGTON WOLVES (H) – SUNDAY 23rd APRIL 2023

The Tigresses had their first fixture of the year on Sunday where they put in an admirable display despite being on the wrong end of 20-8 score line at The Jungle in what was a close contest against Salford.

New Head Coach Rob Richardson will take positives from how his side battled during their first 80 minutes of 2023 into this weekend’s clash against Warrington Wolves.

Sunday’s fixture marks the start of the Women’s Challenge Cup group stages where the Tigresses will also come up against St Helens and London Broncos in the weeks to come.

First however will see the Wolves come to The Jungle for a 2pm kick-off so make sure to support the girls for some Sunday rugby league!
