This week for the Tigers

There are still three Castleford Tigers teams to take the field this weekend and all the information you need about the fixtures is below!

Scott Murrell’s men will also be aiming to make it back-to-back victories as they welcome Hull KR’s reserves to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle for a 1pm kick-off on Saturday!

In their previous match, Cas’ Reserves claimed their first victory of the 2023 season as Francis Coggle and Toby Mallinson both dotted down doubles as well as Sam Hall getting on the scoresheet at Newcastle Thunder in a 26-10 win.

The Tigers’ PDRL side began their 2023 season last month in Wigan, coming up against Salford and Bradford at Robin Park.

Cas took a 24-14 victory over the Red Devils but suffered defeat in a tight game against the Bulls where it ended in a 24-18 scoreline.

This time around Castleford will face both Hull clubs in KR and FC at the festival hosted by Leeds Rhinos a stone's throw away at community club Kippax Welfare.

Our inspirational PDRL team take on FC at approximately 1:40pm and their second match of the day against the Robins at 3pm.

Our Tigresses get their 2023 Betfred Women’s Super League campaign underway this weekend!

Cas’ Women’s side have been diligently preparing over the off-season for their opening game of the campaign which sees Salford come to The Jungle on Sunday for a 2pm kick-off.

The Red Devils are new to Super League but will be looking to make an impression after promotion last season and both sides will be aiming to get points on the board ahead of the Challenge Cup starting in a couple of weeks’ time.
