The Cas pack will be looking to respond after last week’s defeat at home to league leaders Warrington Wolves and Steve McNamara’s Dragons will also be aiming to bounce back.

The French side’s unbeaten start to the campaign came to a halt at the hands of Leeds Rhinos in front of the Channel 4 cameras at Headingley on Saturday in an end-to-end contest.

The contest at the Stade Gilbert Brutus is scheduled to get underway at 5pm (BST) with the Tigers eager to take the scalp of the Dragons on French turf for the first time since 2017 and will be given extra encouragement from their performances against Catalans last campaign.

Castleford got the better of Catalans on two separate occasions at Wheldon Road last season, with Danny Richardson's golden point winning drop goal marking one of the moments of last term.

Last has made two changes to the line up that was picked ahead of the Wire contest with Mahe Fonua coming back into the fold after sitting out the last match due to HIA protocol. George Lawler also returns after recovering from a sternum injury.

Liam Watts misses out due to a shoulder injury suffered against the Wolves and Adam Milner has been forced to sit out the next two fixtures due to a ban.
