It’s another busy period for the Tigers with three of the Club’s teams taking to the field this week!  All the information you need about the fixtures is below!

COLLEGE – VS PRIESTLEY SPORT WARRINGTON WOLVES DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY (H) – WEDNESDAY 29th MARCH 2023

It has been a season to remember for Castleford Tigers Foundation’s Tigers College team who were crowned league winners just a couple of weeks ago!

After their league title success, the college squad entered the play-off semi-finals with a fixture against Barrow Raiders scheduled at Lock Lane last week. After a non-stop 80 minutes with the lead changing on a number of occasions, it was the Fords who came out on top to reach the final.

Wednesday will provide an unforgettable occasion for the youngsters to run out at Wheldon Road and we want the Fords faithful to show their unwavering support on the day!

Admission to the game will be free of charge, however, we do ask supporters who can to make a donation to the Castleford Tigers Foundation at the turnstile which would be very much appreciated.

The fixture will get underway at 4:00pm!

RESERVES – VS NEWCASTLE THUNDER (A) – FRIDAY 31st MARCH 2023

Castleford’s Reserves are on the road again this week when they take on Newcastle at Kingston Park!

Friday will mark their third contest of the season after a hard-fought draw in their opener against Wigan Warriors. Their latest fixture ended in defeat, however, Cas’ Reserves dug in during the second 40 with Cole Oakley notching a brace.

We’d like to wish the Reserves all the best as they head up to the northeast in search of their first win of the campaign!

FIRST TEAM – VS CATALANS DRAGONS (A) – SATURDAY 1st APRIL 2023

The Tigers’ First Team are also on their travels as they will be heading out to the south of France for this weekend’s clash with the Dragons.

Cas will be aiming to respond after suffering defeat to the unbeaten Warrington Wolves at The Jungle on Friday night and Steve McNamara’s Dragons will also be looking to bounce back.

The French side’s unbeaten start to the campaign came to a halt at the hands of Leeds Rhinos in front of the Channel 4 cameras at Headingley on Saturday in an end-to-end contest.

The contest at the Stade Gilbert Brutus is scheduled to get underway at 5pm (BST) with the Tigers eager to take the scalp of the Dragons on French turf for the first time since 2017 and will be given extra encouragement from their performances against Catalans last campaign.
