Tigers agree HARIBO collaboration

Castleford Tigers are proud to announce that they will be working closely with HARIBO this season to bring joy to families through their Martin House partnership.

Fords fans got a glimpse of the HARIBO Goldbear mascot at the opening home game of this season; spreading some childlike happiness amongst families at The Mend-a-Hose Jungle. Goldbear greeted fans in the family zone area before the game.

This year, HARIBO and Castleford Tigers will work closely to support a local charity, Martin House Children’s Hospice, in creating memorable family moments, as well as raising funds in May at the Catalans Dragons fixture on Friday 12th May. Martin House provide free care and support for children and families with life-limiting conditions across our locality.

Managing Director of HARIBO, Jon Hughes commented, “We are pleased to celebrate the opening of the season, joining Castleford Tigers at their first home game in 2023. We are looking to create some moments of Childlike Happiness for our charity partner Martin House Children’s Hospice with the support of the Castleford Tigers Team.”

Lizzie Philpott, Partnerships Manager at Martin House, said: “One of the roles of Martin House is to give families experiences where they can make memories to treasure. Thanks to this generous gift from HARIBO and wonderful support from Castleford Tigers will help dozens of families who need the support of Martin House experience the thrill of watching a live sports match.”

HARIBO have been at the heart of West Yorkshire’s sweet making heritage for over 50 years and are focused on supporting local communities and charities. Bringing together Castleford Tigers and Martin House is a great opportunity to give back to local families and communities alike.
