Cryer & Stott team up with the Tigers

Award-winning independent cheesemongers and fine food merchants Cryer & Stott have proudly partnered up with Castleford Tigers for the 2023 season!

First established back in 1998, Cryer & Stott are a local business who have retail outlets in Castleford and Pontefract’s market halls, plus in Allerton Bywater at Samuel Valentine’s beautiful food hall. 

Their shops sell a wide selection of cheese, cooked meats, cured bacon, gammons, locally baked fresh bread, and freshly baked award-winning pork pies, plus they boast a fantastic range of mouth-watering chutneys, pickles and jams.

As part of the fan matchday experience, the Fords faithful will be able to get their hands on Cryer & Stott’s wonderful food at The Jungle!

Supporters will be able to get their teeth stuck into Cryer & Stott’s sausage rolls and pies, including our very own bespoke Tiger Pie, which uses red cheddar and charcoal cheese to create our Tiger stripes and is a nod to the mining heritage of our great town, and our own Tiger Rolls sausage rolls. And for the cheese connoisseurs. If you can’t wait until a match day then Samuel Valentine’s in Allerton Bywater stock delicious pies and sausage rolls all year round and now also stock an old-school cheese truckle with our Castleford Tigers branding on!

Cryer & Stott will be proudly supporting our Foundation PDRL team too with player sponsorship of the Fords’ captain and England PDRL World Cup winner Nick Kennedy for the 2023 season too!
