Lee Radford’s men will get their 2023 league campaign underway on Sunday, 19th February at the MKM Stadium where they will visit Radford’s former club Hull FC, who will be under new leadership with Tony Smith now at the helm.

The Fords are then on home turf for back-to-back matches at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle with two tasty contests locked in!

First up, the Champions come to town for a game which will be broadcast live on Channel 4, Sunday, 26th February, before the Challenge Cup winners Wigan Warriors arrive at Wheldon Road on Friday, 3rd March.

Castleford will have successive home games to round off the month of March, taking on local rivals Leeds Rhinos on Thursday, 16th March, ahead of Warrington Wolves on Friday, 24th March.

One game fans look for when the fixtures are released is the away trip to Perpignan for the Catalans Dragons match, and in 2023 Cas head to France for Saturday, 1st April, just ahead of the Easter weekend.

Our first local derby against Wakefield Trinity will be at Wheldon Road on Thursday, 6th April for Rivals Round, and will kick off the Easter rugby schedule too. Also in April, Cas will host Hull KR on the 21st of April.

The Tigers will meet the recently rebranded Leigh Leopards for the first time in 2023 at Leigh Sports Village to start May's games on Friday the 5th. Catalans Dragons then head to The Jungle on Friday, 12th May.

Magic Weekend returns to St James' Park for Super League's festival once again in the summer.

On Saturday, 3rd June the Tigers will go head-to-head with Leeds Rhinos for the second year straight in day one's main event, and Cas will be eager to get revenge this time around after suffering their first-ever defeat at Newcastle United's home ground.

To close out June, Radford's men will have two home games on the spin against Salford Red Devils and Warrington Wolves for the second time on the 9th and 23rd.

Castleford will take on Leigh at home on Friday, 7th July, with hopefully a packed-out Jungle crowd. The last time Leigh came to Cas was back in 2021, early in the season, in a behind-closed-doors encounter due to the Covid pandemic.

Huddersfield Giants will be our first opposition in August when Ian Watson’s men visit The Jungle on Friday, the 4th. The Tigers make the short journey to the Be Well Support stadium to face neighbours Trinity on Sunday the 20th before hosting Paul Wellens’ St Helens for the second time in 2023 on Friday, 25th August.

September will be a busy end to the regular season, with four games scheduled, three of which are away. Cas will visit the Halliwell Jones Stadium for a clash with Warrington on Saturday, 2nd September.

The final home fixture of the season for Castleford will be a barnstorming contest against Hull FC under the Jungle lights on Friday, 8th September.

Rounding off the year, the Tigers have two tough tasks on the road against Wigan Warriors on 15th September, and for the second year in succession Cas will head to Headingley to finish the 27-round regular season campaign against Leeds Rhinos.

The regular season will see each team will play 27 fixtures – 13 home and 13 away, plus Magic Weekend at St James’ Park, and Old Trafford will again play host to the Super League Grand Final on Saturday 14th of October.

The end of season Play-Off series sees the top six ranked teams battle it out to reach Old Trafford. The top two teams at the end of the regular season will be just 80 minutes from the Grand Final and receive a bye in week one before facing the winners from third versus sixth and fourth versus fifth.
