This week for the Tigers
Take a look at the fixtures ahead this week for all the Tigers' teams!
The Tigers have three teams involved in matches during this week with Castleford’s Academy, First Team, and Women’s side all in action. All the dates and information you need is below!
ACADEMY – VS NEWCASTLE THUNDER – WEDNESDAY 24th AUGUST 2022
The young Fords take to the field at The Jungle for their final contest of the season when they take on Newcastle at 7pm.
Our Academy will be looking to finish their 2022 on a high and would have taken many positives despite defeat last time out against Wigan during what was a battling display. The youngsters will also take heart from their last outing against Thunder, having dismantled the side from the northeast to earn an impressive 58-10 victory away from home.
Make sure to get yourself down to Wheldon Road and don’t forget that Tigers Members get entry to this fixture for FREE as do Under 16's, otherwise, it is just £5 entry. Car parking is available at the stadium too priced at just £2.
FIRST TEAM – VS WARRINGTON WOLVES – THURSDAY 25th AUGUST 2022
Castleford’s First Team will be aiming to respond after a frustrating night away at Huddersfield last Thursday, with Lee Radford’s men eager to make it back-to-back victories over Wire.
The pair met previously at The Jungle in July where a classy Cas performance saw them take a 35-22 success against former Tigers coach Daryl Powell.
Tickets for the contest at the Halliwell Jones stadium are still available to purchase HERE!
WOMEN – VS WAKEFIELD TRINITY – SUNDAY 28th AUGUST 2022 - 2PM KO
The Tigresses are coming into this weekend’s game on the back of a remarkable performance against Leigh Miners Rangers to claim their first victory of the campaign.
Sunday sees Cas’ Women’s team face local rivals, Wakefield Trinity, in a crunch clash at The Jungle where both sides will be hungry to take the two points.
There’s nothing like Sunday rugby at Wheldon Road so get down to back the girls! Entry for 2022 Members and U16s is FREE and it’s only £5 for everyone else. Car parking at the stadium is priced at £2.
