Castleford Tigers Head Coach Lee Radford has named his 21-man squad for Friday’s Betfred Super League clash against Catalans Dragons, which kicks off at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle at 8pm.

Castleford’s squad news is proudly sponsored and brought to you by GeoShield.

The Tigers are currently in fifth place on the league ladder and with the playoff race heating up they will be looking to keep their place in front of a chasing pack who are fighting to get into the post-season mix. Add into that the Tigers and the Dragons are meeting for the third time this season with the score tied at 1-1, so both will want to get the victory.

Friday night’s fixture is Castleford’s penultimate home match of the regular season and with just five rounds left, every point matters. Our home form has been strong in 2022 and we want plenty of the Fords faithful in the ground to make The Jungle a fortress!

Onto the squad news and Radford has been forced to make two changes to the squad that was declared for last Sunday’s away game at St Helens. Liam Watts has received a two-match penalty notice which keeps him out for this and next week’s Huddersfield game. Cheyse Blair also misses out due to a head knock he picked up in the game at Saints in accordance with return-to-play protocols.

George Lawler and Daniel Smith are back in the 21-man squad after missing out in the last round.

Fords faithful we're encouraging you to wear your favourite shirts from yesteryear!

We at Castleford have had some memorable shirts in our 96-year history and we're looking forward to seeing what you all bring to the ground.

In the Fan Zone ahead of kickoff, we will be hosting on The Molson Coors Stage a LEGENDS Q&A! Confirmed on the panel will be incredible Cas players: Graham Steadman, Bob Beardmore, Kevin Beardmore and Lee Crooks. Fans can hear some legendary opinions and ask their own questions too.

All the Tigers' music on the night will all be retro throwback classics too!

A new 'Retro Range' will be available for supporters in the near future too with Elite Pro Sports. The range will feature modern remakes of some iconic and memorable Castleford kits from years gone by. Keep an eye for these in the future...
