Castleford Tigers’ away match against Hull FC will now take place on Friday, 22nd July at the MKM Stadium and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

The Round 20 Betfred Super League fixture will mark the first time that Castleford Head Coach Lee Radford takes on his former club at their home ground. During his time with Hull FC, he oversaw them winning back-to-back Challenge Cup Finals.

Now with the Tigers, Radford is overseeing the #NewCasEra with his side firmly in the hunt for playoff rugby at the end of the regular season.

Heading into July, the Tigers and Hull FC are in the top six of the table but only separated by points difference.

The Tigers’ last visit to the MKM Stadium was a successful one, a Jordan Turner brace helped secure a 12-23 away day victory. Furthermore, the Fords will also be aiming to do a league double over the Black & Whites after getting a home win over them in March 33-26.

Matches between these two well supported sides in recent years have been exciting encounters, and this next chapter looks likely to be just the same.
