Tigers squad to take on Trinity

Lee Radford has named his 21-man squad for Thursday night’s Betfred Super League encounter against Wakefield Trinity.

Castleford’s Head Coach makes two changes to the squad that was announced for the Challenge Cup quarter-final last Friday night, with Jordan Turner and Bureta Faraimo missing out due to shoulder and knee injuries picked up in the match against Hull KR. Into the squad declaration then come youngsters Sam Hall and Jack Sadler, the latter of which is looking to make his first Super League appearance of the season.

The Fords are focused on getting back to winning ways after exiting the Cup and the start of the Easter period presents an opportunity to climb up the league ladder with three matches in the space of just nine days - two of which are at The Jungle on Easter Monday against Leeds, then four days later against St Helens.

Wakefield Trinity will be highly motivated for the derby after getting knocked out of the Cup at home on Sunday afternoon to Wigan 6-36. However, the home side's biggest drive will be to not lose to the Tigers for a seventeenth straight time in the derby.
