Here is everything supporters need to know as welcome you to Wheldon Road for Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC on Sunday!

Tickets

Castleford Tigers are encouraging supporters who have not got their tickets already to get an e-ticket in advance of game day to secure their spot, as well as saving a bit of money.

  • GAME DAY TICKETS

For supporters wanting to purchase on the day at the stadium - both cash and card will be accepted on Turnstiles 12 & 13 ONLY.

Turnstiles 12 & 13 are located at the side of the training pitch which is located behind the Main Stand. This is the only location game day tickets will be purchasable from.

  • TICKET COLLECTION

The Tigers’ Game Day Ticket Office is located inside the stadium for supporters to collect their tickets. This is located at the side of the training pitch and next to the Restaurant.

Entry Information

Castleford Tigers are encouraging supporters to GET DOWN EARLY and avoid the queues!

Stadium entry will be fully open from 2pm at which point ALL our bars will be open, including our brand-new Fan Zone which is open to both home and away supporters.

2022 Members and supporters already with their tickets can enter the stadium at any of our turnstiles where their card or ticket will be scanned for entry.

As stated in the previous section: supporters wanting to get their tickets on the day at the stadium will only be able to do so via Turnstiles 12 & 13 at the back of the Main Stand ONLY. That is the only location game day tickets will be purchasable from.

There is plenty going on to keep supporters entertained and looked after for food and drinks too!

Fan Zone

Our all-new Fan Zone will be open for fans from 2pm with our headline act on the Molson Coors Stage ‘The Bangin' Tuesdays’ performing from 2.15pm-3pm, and then their final set will be shortly after full time.

The Fan Zone’s resident DJ Mark Ridgeway will be keeping supporters entertained following the match, with a disco and karaoke.

Food

The Fords faithful will have a whole variety of eating choices to choose from around the ground and on the main stadium concourse behind the Main Stand.

  • Southern fried chicken
  • Burger bar
  • Curry, kebabs, and wraps
  • The Princess Street Pie Bar
  • Loaded fries and toasties
  • Coffee, cakes, and milkshakes
  • And for those with a sweet tooth an ice cream and sweet shop!

Bars

All our bars will be open from 2pm including our bottle bars around the ground, The Doom Bar Real Ale Bar in the Fan Zone, and the Legend’s Lounge is back open for supporters at the back of the Main Stand.

There has also been an additional bottle bar added in the Fan Zone in a bid to help reduce queues.

Entertainment

Around the ground will be stilt walkers, balloon modellers and face painters too for our young Tiger supporters!

Sensational saxophonist Mick Allport will be performing outside the Legends Lounge early once the stadium opens, and then entertaining fans outside the Stadium Store from 2-2.30pm.

Acoustic band The Whisky Belters will be then rocking outside the Stadium Store from 2.40-3.15pm.

Headlining our Molson Coors Stage, local band The Bangin' Tuesdays are back after impressing Cas fans around the ground from our Round One match event. Head to the Fan Zone to see their first set between 2.15pm-3pm, and then their final performances will be shortly after full time.

In our Fan Zone, resident DJ Mark Ridgeway will get fans ready for the game and host a post-match disco and karaoke too.

Travel Information

Castleford Tigers continue to encourage supporters to GET DOWN EARLY, with temporary traffic lights currently in place on Wheldon Road near Queen Street and the Arriva Bus Depot.

This is expected to cause slight delays on the main roundabout which links the A656, Lock Lane A656, Bridge Street, and Wheldon Road.

Away Supporters

Away supporters are encouraged to use Turnstiles 9 & 10 on Princess Street (The Princess Street Stand) for entry - with access to the Railway End of the stadium which is where visiting supporters gather.

A reminder - game day tickets though are only available through Turnstiles 12 & 13 at the back of the Main Stand.

  • FAN ZONE

Hull FC fans are encouraged to come and check out our brand new Fan Zone, with drinks, food, and entertainment available!

  • GETTING TO THE JUNGLE

The Mend-A-Hose Jungle (WF10 2SD) is easy to find and well signposted from the M62.

Exit the M62 at either junction 30 or junction 31. We are only a few minutes away in a car or a 15-minute walk from the nearest train & bus station located in the Castleford town centre.

  • CAR PARKING

Parking is available onsite at the stadium and is priced at £5 per car. Please note: Our stadium car park gets very busy on match days so please arrive early if you want to park on-site.

Additional car parks can be found in Castleford town centre, just a 10 mins walk down Wheldon Road to The Jungle.
