Club Statement: Covid-19 update
Castleford Tigers can confirm a number of positive Covid-19 cases within the First Team environment which has resulted in the squad’s Christmas break being brought forward by two days.
Everyone involved with the First Team has conducted a PCR test and those who tested positive will be following the correct protocols of isolation. The Club’s on-field rugby operations are now suspended until the new year, whilst our off-field operations continue working in the run-up to Christmas.
The Club has been in regular communication with both the RFL and Public Health England regarding the situation.
