Cas vs Hull FC: Matchday guide

To solve some of our supporters’ queries ahead of attending games at The Jungle, here are some answers to our most frequently asked questions.

Castleford Tigers are looking forward to welcoming supporters to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle, however, we understand that there are many changes to fans’ matchday experience. Please read this list of our most frequently asked questions.

Can I buy a ticket or pay on the night?

Unfortunately not, the game is now sold out.

I have renewed my Season Ticket, what do I do?

2021 Season Ticket holders can attend by coming to the ground with your 2020 card which will have been reactivated and will be scanned into the part of the ground you wish to be in. Please note when one section is full it will be closed, the access times of each stand are listed in the next question.

What time does each stand open?

  • Main Stand & Family Zone access
    From 6.45pm
  • Princess Street Stand access (E-ticket holders must aim for the time specified on their ticket)
    From 6.15pm
  • Wheldon Road End access
    From 6.15pm
  • Railway End access (E-ticket holders must aim for the time specified on their ticket)
    Either 6.15pm or 6.45pm – please check the time on your e-ticket

Where do I enter for each stand?

To reduce the number of touchpoints we will be admitting fans via entry points which will have multiple lanes and be socially distanced.

For Princess Street and Railway End entry, the entry points are on Princess Street, with e-ticket holders needing to go along to Gate 9 – whilst fans wanting to be in the Princess Street stand can use the first entry point on Princess Street - Gate 7.

The Wheldon Road End’s entry point including the open-air terrace between the Wheldon Road End and Main Stand is the Arthur Atkinson gates by our stadium store on Wheldon Road.

The Main Stand, Family Zone, and corporate guests entrance is at the back of the Main Stand by training ground, and our disabled gate remains the same.

Can I move around the ground to different stands?

No, unfortunately, we have had to segregate the stands for this fixture.

Can I park at the ground?

No, we apologise for any inconvenience but parking is only for those who have already been pre-booked and pass holders for this match, supporters cannot pre-book at this stage.

I have an e-ticket what do I do?

Follow the instructions on the bottom of your e-ticket, you can either print it out or show it on your phone to be scanned by our stewarding team.

What time should I arrive?

Season Ticket holders we ask to arrive as early as possible to avoid queues, making use of the access times for the stand you wish to enter.

E-ticket holders have their expected time of arrival on their tickets.

Can I get food and drink at the ground?

Soft drinks and water will be sold, but food will not be sold at this stage.

Each stand at The Jungle will have a location to go to for purchasing water or soft drink bottles. Bottled water is available for £1, other soft drinks for £2. 

  • Wheldon Road End - Member's Bar in the corner at the top of the stand
  • Main Stand - The Bottle Bar at the bottom of the stairs of entry to that stand
  • Railway End - Supporters' Bar near the scoreboard
  • Princess Street Stand - The Monkey Munch bar at the back and middle of the stand.

Supporters are welcome to bring food and soft drinks into the ground, however, please put food into a carrier bag so the stewards can quickly look inside. Drinks MUST be in a sealed plastic bottle, no glasses or cans, and you are NOT permitted to bring alcohol into the ground.

Any supporter who attempts to bring in alcohol, glass bottles, or cans will have their items confiscated from our stewarding team.

I’m in the Railway End, what if it rains?

Unfortunately, we are not able to move people into different stands, we ask fans to please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.

I have a Season Ticket and my friend/family has an e-ticket, can I stand with them?

We have a limited capacity for Season Ticket holders to access the Railway End, although if you want to do this, please come to the ground early.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Yes, please wear a mask at all times when in the stadium.

I am exempt from wearing a mask what should I do?

Please bring your exemption certificate with you to show the stewards.

Will the retail store be open?

Yes, it will be open before the game only.

Can I stop in the ground to meet the players after the game?

Unfortunately not, due to the terms of our COVID safety certificate, we need fans to exit the ground at the end of the game.

Can I smoke or use e-cigarettes?

No, the stadium will be a no smoking and no e-cigarettes zone.

What if I have a problem with my Season Ticket or e-ticket?

You will be directed to the Ticket Office at the side of the training pitch, our ticketing team will then be able to assist you.

What if I arrive late?

Once the game kicks off the gates will close, for late entry please go to the corporate gate at the side of the training pitch.
