O’Brien to wear #31

O’Brien was originally going to be wearing the #16 shirt for the Fords in the upcoming season, which was announced during the club’s official virtual squad launch and sponsors evening back in February.

However, due to personal reasons, Gareth made the request to switch to #31 and that request has been granted by the club and confirmed by the RFL.

This now means that 18-year-old hooker Cain Robb has also changed his squad number for the 2021 season, Robb will now wear #32, whilst #16 will remain vacant.
