Alex Foster has been announced as the new Ambassador for PDRL at Castleford Tigers ahead of a big year for the sport: With the 2021 PDRL World Cup set to take place later this year and the PDRL competition still hoping to return after over a year of all levels of the community games being suspended.

Speaking about his role, Alex had this to say: "I'm really excited to be in the position to be the new ambassador of the Physical Disability Rugby League team, I know the team hasn't been training since March and everyone is really keen and excited to get stuck in, so I can't wait to see you around the ground and give you a helping wherever I can!"

He joins Peter Mata'utia who is the Tigers' Learning Disability Rugby League team ambassador in supporting the Foundation's community times and both players' commitments to this are highly valued by the club and embody the fantastic community spirit which surrounds Castleford.

Club ambassadors duties involve everything from helping to coach training sessions for these teams when it is safe to do so, to offering advice and support via Zoom Calls. Further updates about their future involvements will be published as the season unfolds.
