2021 season tickets update
Posted: Monday 23rd November 2020 - 1:24 PM
Castleford Tigers are pleased to provide a further update for season ticket holders ahead of the 2021 campaign.
All 2020 season ticket holders were previously asked to select one of three options for next year – DONATE, DISCOUNT or REFUND – and the club’s ticketing staff have spent recent weeks collating these choices and contacting those ticket holders who hadn’t yet informed the Tigers of their decision.
The club is pleased to confirm that this stage of the process is now complete and attention will turn to renewing season tickets for 2021 and taking payments. Due to the current COVID-19 national lockdown, this process will take place over the phone only – there will be no option to sign up or provide payment details in stores or at the Stadium Ticket Office at this stage.
Tigers ticketing staff have now begun contacting all existing season ticket holders to further discuss their circumstances for 2021 depending on the option they had previously chosen. Season ticket holders will be able to renew for next season over the phone or join the club’s popular six-month direct debit scheme.
However, any existing season ticket holder who wishes to renew for 2021 sooner rather than later can contact the ticket office on the hotline numbers below without waiting to be contacted by the club first. Anybody who does not contact the club directly will still receive a phone call in due course.
It is anticipated that the 2021 Betfred Super League season will start in late March to give clubs the best opportunity of having supporters return to stadiums. Although capacity levels are unknown at this stage, season ticket holders will be given first priority in attending matches should capacities be reduced at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
For this reason, the club has therefore decided that 2021 season tickets will initially be available to 2020 season ticket holders only. Although they will not be available to new fans at the current time, the club has established an online waiting list for any fan interested in becoming a season ticket holder next year. CLICK HERE and enter your details to join the list.
Further information on 2021 season tickets is available below.
Those season ticket holders who selected the DONATE option for 2021 can now renew their season ticket for next year. Prices will be frozen at 2020 levels and those in the DONATE category will be offered a discount calculated at £20 per adult and £10 per concession. Discounts for family tickets will be set at £40 for the two adult and one child package, £45 for the two adult and two children package and £50 for two adult and three children package.
If you selected the DONATE option, you can now contact the ticket office or await a call from the ticket office to renew for 2021.
Those season ticket holders who selected the DISCOUNT option for 2021 can now renew their season ticket for next year. Prices will be calculated for each category on a pro-rata basis based on the number of games played in front of supporters during the 2020 season.
If you selected the DISCOUNT option, you can now contact the ticket office or await a call from the ticket office to renew for 2021.
Those season ticket holders who selected the REFUND option for 2021 are asked to wait to be contacted by the club in the coming weeks. You will receive a phone call in the first instance and then a refund form will be sent out to you via email or post. The form must be returned to the club along with your 2020 season cards before refunds will be processed. Refunds will be calculated for each category on a pro-rata basis based on the number of games played in front of supporters during the 2020 season.
A six-month direct debit is available for 2021 season tickets and can be processed over the phone. A £10 admin charge will be applied. This will be available for both the DONATE and DISCOUNT season ticket holder prices.
