Castleford Tigers can provide another update following the latest rounds of Covid-19 testing.

The club is pleased to confirm that the two latest rounds of testing for the first team squad and coaching staff returned negative results. These were conducted on Friday, 6th November and Monday, 9th November.

Most members of the squad who have previously tested positive have now completed their mandatory 10-day isolation periods and have started their return-to-training protocols with the club’s medical staff.

Although the club’s season has finished, these tests are required to confirm the players have no underlying effects of Covid before they are released for the off season.

This excludes the three members of the performance group who tested positive last week as they will need to complete new 10-day isolation periods before beginning their own return-to-training protocols.

All members of the group who have tested negative throughout the process have now also completed their 14-day isolation periods.
