Daryl Powell has named his 21-man squad for this Thursday’s Betfred Super League match at the Halliwell Jones Stadium which kicks-off at 8.15pm.

Following a week without a match, the Tigers’ Head Coach makes four changes to the squad list that was posted to take on Hull FC in the Coral Challenge Cup.

Gareth O’Brien returns for league action after being cup-tied with Toronto Wolfpack, also returning is Jesse Sene-Lefao, who has been back training with the team after being stood down over two weeks ago in accordance with track and trace protocols.

Featuring for the first time in the 21-man squad in 2020 are both Matt Cook and Jack Sanderson; Cook has been working on a comeback from injury and plans to give his all when he returns to the field for Castleford following the news he will be joining Widnes in 2021. Meanwhile, utility back Sanderson is looking to make his First Team debut with the Tigers after joining in March on a deal until the end of the 2020 season, he has been given the #35 shirt.

Adam Milner misses out this match after being given a one-match suspension notice from the Tigers’ game against Warrington, Sosaia Feki and Peter Mata’utia are currently being assessed for injuries and Jake Trueman misses out due to a back injury.

Castleford will be looking to get back to winning ways after an agonisingly late defeat to Warrington Wolves and then exiting the Challenge Cup to Hull FC during a busy double fixture week. Huddersfield Giants registered their first win since the restart of Super League last time out against Wakefield Trinity.
