The Tigresses will take on St. Helens, Wigan Warriors, Leeds Rhinos and Featherstone Rovers - all away from home.

Nevertheless, players Sinead Peach and Lucy Eastwood are both excited about the challenge of playing against the best sides away from the Jungle.

England international Peach said: "We put out on our social media saying 'Challenge accepted' and I couldn't agree more. It's a bit of a hard draw but we're excited about the challenge."

Peach also reflected on the start of pre-season saying: "It's good to be back in training. All the girls are buzzing to be back and everyone is looking forward to the new season. Everyone's feeling good and the atmosphere in camp is a positive one."

Eastwood, who has been with the Tigresses since the inception of the team, has shared a similar excitement about the fixtures.

"They're absolutely massive games. Away from our home turf, away from our home fans but we're accepting the challenge. We're working hard in pre-season so we'll give it a good shot.

When questioned on training, Eastwood added: "The atmosphere is absolutely brilliant. Everyone is getting stuck in at training.

"Pre-season is hard as nails and we're being put through our paces but hopefully it will be all worth it when the season kicks off."
