Michael Shenton

Simply put, Michael Shenton is a modern-day Castleford legend.

The Tigers captain has spent all but two seasons of his career with the club and holds the record for the most Super League appearances in Cas colours.

A product of the club’s youth academy, Shenton made his debut in 2004 and has seen the complete change in the club’s ambitions and fortunes, from fighting relegation to competing for the Super League title.

Over the past nine years as the skipper, he has been an integral part of Daryl Powell’s side and has showcased his passion and work ethic since returning to The Jungle.
