Matt Cook

Cook joined the Tigers for a second time in 2015, after a brief loan spell in 2008. The prop has had stints at Bradford, Hull KR and London, and captained the latter in 2014 during their turbulent year. He came out of the experience with his head held high, but jumped at the opportunity to stay in Super League by joining the Tigers. Cook, who has a Super League crown and a World Club Challenge on his CV, is also an ex-England international, after making two appearances in 2006. In 2016, the 29-year old played 29 times for the Tigers scoring his only try in the last game of the season against Widnes. Cook’s 2017 was hampered by a knee injury midway through the season but the prop still managed 23 appearances.
