Now one of the “old heads” of the squad, Cook returns for an impressive sixth season at the club. The prop has had stints at Bradford, Hull KR and London, and captained the latter in 2014 during their turbulent year. He came out of the experience with his head held high, but jumped at the opportunity to stay in Super League by joining the Tigers. Cook, who has a Super League crown and a World Club Challenge on his CV, is also an ex-England international, after making two appearances in 2006. After being a key part of the 2019 campaign, appearing 21 times and scoring three times, “Cookie” will be keen to help lead Castleford to greater things in 2020.
