Cas squad named for Wigan clash

Daryl Powell has named his 21-man squad for Thursday’s away game against Wigan Warriors.

The Tigers Head Coach makes two changes to the squad that was named for last week’s emphatic victory over Leigh Centurions with Jesse Sene-Lefao missing out due to serving a one-match penalty notice, whilst Gareth O’Brien sustained an injury above the knee and misses out.

Danny Richardson comes back into contention, and it’s a first call up into the 21-man squad announcement in 2021 for Brad Martin, the 20-year-old made his Super League debut last October with Castleford and signed a one-year contract extension ahead of the new season.

Both the Tigers and the Warriors have 100% records so far in the early season, both with three wins in Super League and progressing through to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup. It makes for an exciting Betfred Super League fixture at the DW Stadium on Thursday evening, which kicks off at 6pm.

2021 Season Ticket holders watch the game live or catch up on-demand through the Our League platform, further details of that can be found HERE.
