Castleford Tigers are delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Hardman

Castleford Tigers are delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Hardman.

Amy will take on the position of Foundation Manager.

As Foundation Manager, Amy’s role will be to grow and develop the Foundation and build revenue streams, including securing grant funding to tackle local issues through the power of sport. Furthermore, Amy and her team will use the Tigers brand as a hook to become more connected to the community — not just through sporting or physical activity projects, but also through social impact initiatives such as tackling isolation and promoting health and wellbeing.

Amy said:

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining Castleford Tigers Foundation as Foundation Manager. After 13 fantastic years with Featherstone Rovers Foundation, I felt it was the right time for a new challenge. I’m really excited to work with the team here at the Tigers and build on the brilliant work already being done in the community.

I’m hoping to bring my experience in supporting people through social impact projects and addressing key local issues. As a locally trusted organisation, the Tigers brand carries a huge responsibility to use the power of sport to support and uplift our communities. I’m proud to be part of that mission and I’m really looking forward to the future.”

CEO Danny Wilson said:

“We are really pleased to bring Amy to Cas. She has a proven track record of excellent outreach work and community fundraising, which is a key part of our plan to reconnect with the town and grow the club.”
