100 Year 2026 Centenary Season Membership Winner - Gary Craven.

We recently ran a competition for all supporters who purchased a 2026 Season Membership before 28th September. Everyone who signed up by this date was entered into a special draw to win a Season Membership for the next 100 years, to be passed down through future generations.

We are delighted to announce that the lucky winner was Gary Craven. Gary joined us today at The OneBore Stadium to collect his 2026 centenary shirt and his incredible prize.

Speaking about his win, Gary said:

“It was a strange feeling, actually, because I wasn’t even taking note of when it was drawn or thinking I was going to win it. I started getting phone calls at about 10 o’clock on the night of the draw, and my brother was saying, ‘Have you seen Facebook?’ I said, ‘What about Facebook?’ and he said, ‘You’ve won the Season Ticket!’ I thought, ‘No, no.’ Then he sent me the video of John Joyner drawing it out and I just sat there thinking, 100 years? I’m not going to be here! But then it sinks in that you can pass it on down to the next generation.”

“Maybe that’s my way of getting my young daughter into rugby now — to say, ‘You’re not going to have to pay to watch Castleford Tigers for the rest of your life, and neither am I.’ It’s an honour to win this and to know that I’ll be able to come down for as many years as I like now and watch the revolution, if you like. I’m over the moon.”
