PDRL Players Earn Regional Representative Honours
Tigers Physical Disability Rugby League side had six of their players earn regional representative honours this week when they lined-up for Yorkshire & Lancashire sides.
In Round one of the inaugural Medequip cup at Victoria Park, Warrington the (PDRL) England hopeful’s lined-up in the Lancashire and Yorkshire sides, looking to secure their spots in next year's World Cup squad.
Round two of the series sees the Lancashire team travel to Headingley on September 11th, in a 18:00Hrs curtain raiser before the Leeds Rhinos vs Catalan Dragons match
Chris Godfrey, National Inclusion Manager, said "It's great to introduce the Medequip Cup tournament to Physical Disability Rugby League. There is tremendous talent throughout the entire PDRL space and to provide a prestigious tournament such as an origin Lancashire vs Yorkshire clash will undoubtedly put a spotlight on its high-standards and inclusive nature."
