Cas squad to face Wire

Lee Radford has selected his 21-man squad for Saturday’s Betfred Super League clash with Warrington Wolves at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle!

Tigers’ Head Coach Lee Radford has selected his 21-man squad for Saturday’s Betfred Super League clash with Warrington Wolves at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle!

Castleford’s squad news is proudly sponsored and brought to you by GeoShield.

Unfortunately for the Fords, their three-match Super League winning streak came to an end last time out at Magic Weekend with defeat to Leeds Rhinos in Newcastle.

Radford’s pack will be hoping home comforts will help them bounce back in style after only losing on two occasions at Wheldon Road in 2022 and the contest will also mark the return of former head coach Daryl Powell for the first time since departing the club last year.

Castleford will be pleased to see captain Paul McShane return to the squad after serving his one-match suspension and half-back Gareth O’Brien also makes a welcome comeback to the 21-man line-up after a stint out through injury.

The only absentee from last weekend’s pack is prop forward Liam Watts who picked up a two-game ban in the Tigers’ loss to the Rhinos.

Saturday’s fixture is geared up to be a fiery occasion between two sides who will have eyes on making the top six by the time the regular season ends.
