The successful building merchant is locally based on Willowbridge Lane in Whitwood, one of 70 stores nationwide. In 2020 MKM also celebrated 25 successful years and we are certain that their 2021 Tigers partnership will be just as successful.

Thanks to the tremendous support shown by commercial partners of the club, Castleford Tigers maintains its belief of coming through the Covid-19 pandemic in a strong financial position.

Speaking about the news Russell Safhill Branch Director said: “I am delighted to continue our partnership with Castleford Tigers again next year. As a company based in the town, we see a real benefit of partnering the club who boast a large following across the district.

“The Tigers are a vital part of this local community, and we are proud of the association. 2020 has been tough on a lot of businesses including professional sports teams, and hopefully next season we can get back to the stadium to cheer on the lads whilst supporting the club at the same time. Thanks to Craig Jeffels for keeping us in the loop during a very surreal 2020 season, and for keeping the brand exposure going whilst games were played behind closed doors.”

Craig Jeffels Head of Commercial Partnerships spoke about the renewal saying: “MKM are a very successful company who are continually growing. They are very well established both across the UK and here in Castleford, and I am delighted that they will continue as club partners into the 2021 season.

“It is important for us to be connecting with local and national businesses of all sizes, and we are proud to be associated with such a well-known and successful company like MKM. We will continue to assist them in growing their customer base, whilst promoting the MKM brand to all our followers. Huge thank you to Russ (branch director) for his patience through what has been a tough year, and for his assistance in getting this partnership over the line again for 2021.”
