The club has today received the results of the latest tests within the performance group, conducted on Tuesday, 3rd November, which have confirmed three more positive results – one player and two members of the coaching staff.

This takes the tally to 20 positive results within the club with the next round of testing due to take place on Friday as part of the agreed protocols.

All players and coaching staff remain in isolation having entered a 14-day lockdown period following the club’s initial positive results on Tuesday, 27th October.

Castleford Tigers continues to work closely with the RFL’s Multiple Cases Group and compliance department regarding the situation, along with Public Health England.

It was confirmed earlier this week that the club’s 2020 season has now been completed following a restructuring of the Betfred Super League competition for the remaining weeks.
