The Tigers are coming home this week and Daryl Powell has named his 21-man squad for this Thursday’s match against Hull FC.

Betfred Super League action returns to The Mend-A-Hose Jungle for the first time since March when the Black & Whites visit. This fixture was originally due to be one of the Government’s sporting events used to pilot the safe return of spectators to sporting venues and events, but this was put on pause last week and means there will be no spectators allowed in the ground. You can read about this match being played behind closed doors here.

Powell makes six changes to the 21-man squad list he announced for last week’s game against Huddersfield Giants, with Derrell Olpherts, Danny Richardson, Liam Watts, Oliver Holmes, Jesse Sene-Lefao and Calum Turner dropping out.

Coming into the squad are Jake Trueman, Adam Milner, Junior Moors, Brad Graham, Brad Martin and Dan Fleming. It sees the first call up to the 21-man squad for Tigers Academy player Brad Graham who impressed in the pre-season to be given shirt number 28 at the start of 2020.

Castleford will look to make the most of their home advantage and get their second victory since the restart of the season. It also presents an opportunity to get a bit of little bit of payback against the side that knocked the Tigers out of the Coral Challenge Cup three weeks ago. The last time the Fords faced the Black & Whites at The Jungle was back in September 2019, a terrific performance which saw Castleford win by 44-12.
