Ahead of this afternoon’s resumption of the Coral Challenge Cup with the Sixth Round tie between Catalans Dragons and Wakefield Trinity televised live on BBC One (2.30pm), the RFL and the BBC can confirm a new schedule of televised ties in September.

The outstanding Sixth Round tie between the Tigers and Hull FC, which had been due to be played today but was postponed following the positive Covid-19 tests at the Black and Whites, will now be played on Sunday, September 13, with a 3pm kick-off, live on the BBC.

The BBC have selected two Quarter Finals for live coverage the following weekend, both on Saturday, September 19: the holders, Warrington Wolves, against the team they beat in last year’s Wembley Final, St Helens, kicking off at 2.30pm with live coverage on BBC One; followed by Wigan Warriors against the winners of the Castleford-Hull FC Sixth Round tie at 5pm with live coverage on BBC Two.

Venues for the three ties, and details of the remaining quarter finals – Leeds Rhinos versus Hull Kingston Rovers, and the winners of today’s Catalans-Wakefield tie against Salford Red Devils – will be confirmed as soon as possible.

The Semi Finals are scheduled for Saturday, October 3, and the Final for Saturday, October 17 – again, with venues to be confirmed as soon as possible.
