The 30-year-old will be raising money for club charity partner The Prince of Wales Hospice who are based in Pontefract and offer care for patients with life-limiting diseases. Over the years Castleford Tigers players and staff have seen first-hand the outstanding work that the Hospice do.

Massey's cycle will begin from 8am on Thursday, 23rd April and he is planning to livestream as much of the event as he can through Facebook or Instagram. Taking to his Twitter to announce the event Nathan said:

"So, for some reason I have decided to sit on a Wattbike for 8 hours to try raise a little bit of money for the guys over at The Prince of Wales Hospice.

"We work closely with these guys at Castleford Tigers, they are a terrific charity that work tirelessly to ensure their patients have the very best care available to them. If you can donate even the smallest amount towards this great charity it would be greatly appreciated!"
