Introducing... WattsApp!

Castleford Tigers are proud to announce their latest media and messaging platform: Wattsapp.

The Tigers’ newest app allows fans to cut out the media middleman and get direct, unprecedented, behind-the-scenes access to Castleford’s number eight – Liam Watts.

Based around the idea of increased digital access to players, the app allows fans to stay up to date with Wattsy by speaking to him directly through the app.

As a two-way messaging platform, WattsApp allows fans send messages straight to the phone of the Tigers’ prop so we encourage questions to be as direct and to-the-point as possible.

Liam will try his best to respond to all questions and messages, but we ask supporters to remember the First Team are adhering to a strict training programme and to be patient waiting for a reply. Messages sent late evening or very early morning will be the most well-received and most likely to receive a response.

Communications Guru Morg Mickan is so thrilled to be launching WattsApp that he couldn’t speak at first, but he believes this app launch could be the first step in a wave of more direct interactions: “We’re excited to launch Wattsapp today and I’m excited as anyone to download it and start firing off questions! But I also think: why stop at a single player? We’re hoping to role this out across the rest of the squad, with InstaGreg, FaceCook, and SnapCheyse are all in the pipeline!”
