First team forward Oliver Holmes has received a positive update on his ankle injury.
The back rower was forced from the field midway through the second half of the Tigers’ 9-8 defeat to Warrington Wolves on Friday night and was sent for scans by the club’s medical team this week.
Results have shown that Holmes has suffered ligament damage but the injury isn’t as bad as first feared. He will now work with the club’s physios on his rehab with a view to being back available for selection in a couple of weeks.
