Castleford Tigers PDRL gear up for Grand Final Day

This Sunday, our Physical Disability Rugby League (PDRL) team will take part in a Grand Final Day in Selby.

Four teams are still in the running to be crowned champions and our very own Tigers are part of that elite group.

Nevertheless, Castleford will face some stiff opposition in the semi-final as they prepare to take on League Leaders Shield winners Warrington Wolves; a side which includes world renowned comedian, Adam Hills.

The Wire’s clash with the Tigers kicks off at 2pm down at Selby RUFC. At the same time, Leeds Rhinos will take on Wakefield Trinity in the second semi-final. Once the finalists are confirmed, the big Grand Final will kick off at 3pm!

This event will be followed two weeks later by another huge stage for PDRL – Old Trafford on Super League Grand Final night!

After the huge impact made by the PDRL heroes of Leeds and Warrington during the Dacia Magic Weekend at Anfield in May, it’s the turn of Castleford and Wakefield to bring their local rivalry to the Theatre of Dreams – in a game that will kick off at 455pm, as part of the build-up to the Betfred Super League title decider.
