Beer Festival - This Weekend

Castleford Tigers will host a Beer Festival this weekend here at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
The event will take place on Friday 24th, Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August.
A selection of 26 draught Ales, 6 Lagers and 6 Ciders will be available along with draught Prosecco and a selection of 10 Gins to sample. We are delighted to be working with Elland Brewery, Leeds Brewery, Boothtown Brewery, Bradfield Bewery, Ossett Brewery and Old Mill Brewery to bring you a wide selection of fine Ales.
Friday’s event will be open from 6:00pm till 11:00pm. At 7:00pm the Castleford Tigers PDRL team will be in action taking on an elite Castleford Tigers team – made up of a top selection of our staff who work behind the scenes here at the club. Then at 8:15pm we’ll have local Indie Rock band Aquilla heading to the main stage to entertain you all. Formed in the 90's, Aquilla are one of the longest running cover bands on the circuit and we are delighted to welcome then back to the Jungle to entertain you this weekend. Hot food will also be available throughout the evening.
Saturday’s event will be open from 2:00pm till 11:00pm. Duet Jordan and Ste will be performing at 2:00pm and we’ll be showing the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup Final in the Tiger Bar at 3:00pn. At half time local new acoustic artist Molly Sutherley will wow you with her fresh original sound. After the match Jordan and Ste will be back for a second set and then at 7:00pm ‘Shambles’ will take to the main stage to entertain you all. Hot food will also be available throughout the evening.
Sunday’s event will be open from 2:00pm to 7:00pm. Sunday will be more relaxed as we’ll simple be enjoying the ale on offer.
Entry is free on each day and fans have the opportunity to purchase a Castleford Tigers pint glass for £5.00 from the Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes. A voucher will be issued for you to hand in on arrival to receive your pint glass and your first pint will be free.
