Castleford Tigers are helping to get more people cycling.
In conjunction with Sustrans’ City Connect Cycles Project, Castleford Tigers are helping to get more people cycling by increasing their skills and confidence. On the 21st August between 10:00am and 4:00pm there is the offer of a free cycle training course at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle.
The course is for anyone aged 16 and above and will cover cycle training, on-road safety and basic bike maintenance and will be led by a qualified instructor. Bikes and safety helmets for the course will be provided.
As an added bonus, if the participant is an apprentice, or is registered as a job-seeker, they will receive, to keep, a brand new free Raleigh Pioneer hybrid bike worth £400, complete with helmet, lock and lights, conditional upon completion of the course.
Places on the course are limited to 6 participants and anyone wishing to be considered should confirm their name, address, date of birth, height and contact details (email and/or mobile) and if on any benefits to Steve Ball on email@example.com or 07707 927090. We'll also need to know the extent of your cycling experience and if there are any relevant health conditions to be considered.
