Squad to face the Rhinos

Posted: Thursday 7th September 2017 - 3:51 PM

The match takes place here at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle with an 8:00pm kick off.

Powell makes two changes to his squad who claimed victory over Huddersfield Giants last week. Matt Cook and Oliver Holmes drop out with Grant Millington and Mike McMeeken coming back in.

Speaking today Powell said: “We have a real competition for places now as our boys look towards the Semi Final, the boys want to be in the team that play in that Semi Final and if that’s not going to get the best out of people then I’ll be checking for pulses. We’ll have no problem having a motivated team taking to the field for these last three Super 8’s games.

Powell added: From now on in I won’t be making many changes, we have three games left now to get ourselves fine-tuned and toughened up.”

Fans are reminded that this game will not feature on Sky Sports. Fans can save £2 per ticket by calling in to the Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes and buying tickets prior to game day. Limited cash turnstiles will also be available on the night. Fans can also buy online here and collect their tickets on arrival on Friday night from the Stadium Ticket Office.
